Global Immersions
Where you'll learn

Learn Where Business Happens

  • Dubai: Where family enterprise meets global ambition.
  • Singapore: Where governance drives long-term growth.
  • Japan: Where tradition and innovation go hand-in-hand.
  • Germany: Where operational excellence creates legacy.
  • Italy: Where heritage becomes a global brand.
  • London: Where capital fuels family business growth.
  • New York: Conclude your journey with global insights that'll become your competitive edge.

Diagnosis & Aligning of Family Business Objectives

  • How to map the three systems you're actually running: family, ownership and business.
  • How to align scorecards with family and business objectives.
  • How to build a three-generation picture of influence, including the people without titles.
  • How to compare legal shareholding against what the family believes it owns.
  • How to enhance governance through structured board reviews.
  • How to build an unsentimental baseline: margins, cash cycle, customer concentration, ROCE.
  • How to name the conversations your family has been avoiding for a decade.

Family Charter, Succession Planning & Governance Design

  • How to tell apart family governance, company governance and family office — three different builds.
  • How to set family employment rules: qualifications, outside experience, roles that actually exist.
  • How to benchmark family pay to market and decouple compensation from ownership.
  • How to replace the annual dividend argument with an agreed formula.
  • How to fix transfer rules, a valuation method and a real exit route for anyone who wants out.
  • How to build the conflict-resolution ladder before you need it.
  • How to set succession criteria first, then choose — not the reverse.

Financial Systems, Process Documentation & Operational Readiness

  • How to separate personal and business finances completely — the first gate to outside capital.
  • How to close the books monthly and produce an MIS you can act on.
  • How to know unit economics by product, customer and channel, not just at company level.
  • How to map the working capital cycle day by day and fund what growth will consume.
  • How to document the ten processes carrying the most value and the most risk.
  • How to confirm who legally owns the property, IP and licences — before a lender asks.
  • How to design the organisation for the business at 3x and hire the non-family leaders it needs.

Growth Strategy Design & the 3x Blueprint

  • How to build a waterfall from today's profit to 3x, every lever quantified and owned.
  • How to start with pricing — usually the most under-used lever in a founder-run business.
  • How to test channel, geography and adjacency in order of capital efficiency.
  • How to model the cash that growth consumes, not only the profit it produces.
  • How to stress-test the downside: what breaks first and where covenants bite.
  • How to give every growth bet an owner, a budget, milestones and kill criteria.
  • How to leave with a one-page 3x blueprint and a 24-month roadmap behind it.

Execution Launch, Capital Deployment & Governance Embedding

  • How to set the operating cadence: weekly initiatives, monthly reviews, quarterly board.
  • How to publish the annual governance calendar twelve months in advance.
  • How to release capital in tranches against milestones, not against an annual budget.
  • How to transfer authority in instruments, not announcements: signatory, seat, title, thresholds.
  • How to win visibly and early on one hard problem that is unambiguously yours.
  • How to bring the long-serving managers with you, or decide early that they aren't coming.
  • How to communicate the transition outward to staff, customers, bankers and the trade.

FAQ

Any Questions?

Do I need to prepare before starting the application process?

No preparation is required. The admissions process is designed to understand your background, ambitions, and readiness to grow your family business, not to test you on a fixed syllabus.

What should I include in my application?

Share your academic background, your role in the family business, the challenges you're looking to solve, and what you hope to achieve through the programme. Honest, specific examples matter more than polished answers.

What is the interview like?

The interview is a conversation, not an examination. We'll discuss your business, your ambitions, and how the programme aligns with your goals.

Will I need to arrange my own travel?

No. Tetr manages travel, accommodation, and ground logistics for the Dubai Orientation and all global immersions. Participants are only responsible for international flights.

Are mentorship and industry exposure built into the programme?

Yes. Learn directly from global faculty, industry leaders, and family business owners through masterclasses, mentorship, and immersive business experiences.

Does the programme offer financial assistance?

Yes. Financial assistance may be available for exceptional candidates on a case-by-case basis. Speak to your admissions counsellor after receiving your offer.

Who supports participants throughout the programme?

You'll be supported by a dedicated Programme Advisor throughout the journey, alongside faculty and industry mentors who provide academic and business guidance.

How does this programme add value if I'm already working in my family business?

Every module is applied directly to your business. Instead of learning through case studies alone, you'll work on real opportunities and challenges within your own enterprise.

How is this different from a traditional MBA?

Unlike a traditional MBA, this programme is built exclusively for family business leaders. It combines global business frameworks with hands-on work on your own business, so learning translates into immediate impact.

Do I receive a certificate on completion?

Yes. Participants who successfully complete the programme receive a Certificate in Family Business Leadership from Tetr College of Business.

What does the programme fee include?

The programme fee covers tuition, learning materials, Dubai Orientation, all global immersions, accommodation, ground logistics, Family Constitution Coaching, and 12 months of post-programme mentorship. International flights are not included.

What is the refund policy?

Refunds are subject to the programme's terms and conditions and depend on when you withdraw. Full details are shared at the time of enrolment.

Who is this programme designed for?

The programme is designed for next-generation leaders in family-owned or family-controlled businesses who are preparing to lead, modernize, and grow their enterprise.
